- Earnout: part of the price is paid later, only if the site reaches a result you agreed on.
- Seller financing: the buyer pays part now and the rest in installments.
- Holdback: part of the price is held back for a while, in case a problem appears.
These move risk between buyer and seller, so they usually change the price.
The Sitescrow deal page is for one payment through Escrow.com, and it does not track later payments. If you agree on parts, write them down and take legal advice, because we cannot enforce them.
